Community Radio at its purest…

Since 1975, KOTO has provided the Telluride region with high-quality, commercial-free, non-underwritten community radio. Listener-supported KOTO’s radio mission is to entertain, educate, and inform while reflecting the needs, desires, and diversity of our community.

KOTO’s governing body, the San Miguel Educational Fund, is currently seeking Letters of Interest from the community to fill one open seat on its Board of Directors. The appointed seat term is effective through the December 2015 regular election and the appointment will be made by the current board at the February 19 board meeting.  Letters of Interest are due by 5pm on February 12. For more information or to submit a Letter of Interest for an appointment to the San Miguel Educational Fund Board of Directors, please email Board Chair Amy Peters at

Tis Better To Give…

YOU can have an impact on your community by donating your vehicle directly to KOTO.  In the past several months 2 generous families donated their vehicles that raised $8,000 for KOTO.  Why donate your used, operational vehicle?

#1 – NO HASSLES!  Who wants to schedule/reschedule appointments with parties that never show up?

#2 – TAX DEDUCTIBLE – you give us your vehicle and we provide you with a tax receipt to deduct from your income taxes.

#3 – GIVING = CARING – when you donate your vehicle to KOTO you’re supporting a local not-for-profit that provides a platform for ALL local not-for-profits to promote their services, needs and special events.  This is a WIN-WIN situation!

It costs, on average, about $1000 per day to keep KOTO on the air.  Can you help?
