Since 1975, KOTO has provided the Telluride region with high-quality, commercial-free, non-underwritten community radio. Listener-supported KOTO’s radio mission is to entertain, educate, and inform while reflecting the needs, desires, and diversity of our community.
On Friday, December 19th, a ballot was sent to all San Miguel Educational Fund Members who voted in the most recent General Election of SMEF Board of Directors. This current “special election ballot” is for members to vote for/against the recall of SMEF President Ray Farnsworth and SMEF Director Joe McClure. This special election was brought about by a petition. To view petition signatures, click here.
Tis Better To Give…
YOU can have an impact on your community by donating your vehicle directly to KOTO. In the past several months 2 generous families donated their vehicles that raised $8,000 for KOTO. Why donate your used, operational vehicle?
#1 – NO HASSLES! Who wants to schedule/reschedule appointments with parties that never show up?
#2 – TAX DEDUCTIBLE – you give us your vehicle and we provide you with a tax receipt to deduct from your income taxes.
#3 – GIVING = CARING – when you donate your vehicle to KOTO you’re supporting a local not-for-profit that provides a platform for ALL local not-for-profits to promote their services, needs and special events. This is a WIN-WIN situation!
It costs, on average, about $1000 per day to keep KOTO on the air. Can you help?
