Close your eyes, don your bobby socks, let your mind drift back to the days of greasers & 57 Chevys, and bebop to the sounds of Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Buddy Holly and those Moldy Oldies from the 50’s & 60’s.

As a KOTO DJ for over twenty years my motto is “It’s gotta have a beat and you gotta be able to dance to it.” There is a lot of disco on my show because I learned to like dance music while roller skating in Central Park NY, and in the roller discos of the NY 80’s scene. If you don’t hear something from SOS Band, Madonna, Carl Carlton, Kim Carnes, Kylie Minogue, David Bowie, Steve Winwood, Commodores, Evelyn “Champagne” King, or Atlanta Rhythm Section, then you are not listening to “The Luci Show”.
Music to get the weekend started. A bit of world beat, some reggae, ska, electronica and even rock n’ roll with an irie drum and bass line. Making sure to hit the “new tunes” drawer each show helps keep the music fresh and interesting. A typical Urban Sweets show will have music in many different languages, and always a song or more in Spanish. And I am happy to take your requests.

“I’ve got a date on Saturday night!”
This show is all rock!
A feral, chaotic, obscure mix of rock & comedy. I like to compare my show to a Husky dog off its leash – it goes everywhere and gets into everything. Primarily a rock show, you will hear other things mixed in like pop, punk & hip hop. And then there’s the comedy. If you like to laugh then tune into the Bottom Line. Be careful while drinking liquids during this show, as they may squirt out of your nose. Warning: If you have a challenged sense of humor or are severely politically correct, this show may not be for you. And if you happen to be an internet listener, you are always welcome to ask questions or make requests to me with yahoo instant messenger, user name yer_house.
Saturday mornings are made for Weekend Edition Saturday, the program wraps up the week’s news and offers a mix of analysis and features on a wide range of topics, including arts, sports, entertainment, and human interest stories. The two-hour program is hosted by NPR’s Peabody Award-winning Scott Simon. www.npr.org

There’s nothing like three hours of music therapy with Radio Addiction. (Just about) anything goes… if you want, and if I can find it – you just have to call me at the station when I’m on the air (970.728.4333). Believing that music has the power to heal and consciously aware of what messages are put out to the universe, especially with so much wattage behind it (and now the infinite reach of the internet), when left to my own devices, I will spend a great deal of time playing reggae, rap, hip-hop, the latest chart toppers, soon-to-be hits, and more, with an emphasis on hip-swinging and love-making. Music designed to get you up and moving that body… so go ahead, feel free to dance and take the therapy to an even higher level.
