At the Nugget Theatre in Telluride TONIGHT at 5:30pm, Telluride Film Festival Presents the critically acclaimed documentary, PARTICLE FEVER , with an introduction by Nana Naisbitt, Executive Director of the Telluride Science Research Center.  Free admission for students!  No Nugget passes.  Then, “MR PEABODY AND SHERMAN”  (PG) is showing at 8pm.

Wilkinson Public Library’s Muslim Journeys monthly book discussions continues TONIGHT at 6:00pm with a discussion of Leo Africanus.  The books in the series, which you can jump into at anytime, and which runs through May, are available at the library and are yours to keep.  Stop by the library or go to www.telluridelibrary.org for more information on Muslim Journeys.

It’s almost time for “Preschool Visitation Days” at the Telluride Elementary School on May 5th & 6th, from 8:30 am – 9:30 am. Parents meet the principal in the cafeteria and students go to a kindergarten class then recess. Then, on May 7th, Kindergarten Registration in the elementary school office is happening from 9am-4pm. Don’t forget to bring a registration packet, Birth Certificate, immunization records and proof of residency in the R1 school district.  If you have any questions feel free to call the office at 728-6615 ext. 8908.

Rita Chiarelli, Canadian Blues artist, performs in concert with the 65 piece San Juan Symphony, this Saturday, April 26th, at 7:30 PM  at the Ft. Lewis College Community Concert Hall. Spring Cleanup is Coming! Mark your calendars:  May 16 & 17 at Black Bear Road in Telluride.  Electronics Recycling will be held on May 16th & 17th. Hazardous Materials Recycling will be held on May 17th ONLY.  Stay tuned for fees associated with electronics recycling.  Sponsored by the Town of Telluride and San Miguel County.  Take advantage of the right way to dispose of these items!
