The Telluride Fire District is seeking candidates to serve on its board of directors. An election on May 6th will add 3 new directors for four-year terms. Eligible electors of the district interested in serving on the board of directors may obtain a self-nomination and acceptance form from designated election official John Bennet at offices above the Telluride Fire Station located at 131 West Columbia Avenue. Rico Trails Alliance presents the 8th annual Fat Bike Bash on Saturday, March 1st! Come out and enjoy the groomed fat bike and cross-country ski trails that the Rico Trails Alliance maintains. Coffee and treats at the start (10 a.m. at Rico Town Hall) and a Mardi Gras-themed party at the Enterprise to finish. Giveaways and a membership drive are included. A donation would be great, but not required.
