Those who tune in regularly will have noticed a new voice on the airwaves. Mia Taubenblat joined the KOTO News team in June as a summer intern reporting on everything from government meetings, to theatrical goings on.

But now a new school year beckons and she’s heading out on the next adventure. KOTO’s Julia Caulfield sat down with Taubenblat to hear how the summer has gone, and what’s coming up next. Taubenblat starts with her thoughts on the summer.

    An independent investigation into the conversations and actions surrounding an offer to purchase a portion of the Telluride Ski Resort by former Mountain Village Mayor Marti Prohaska and former Telluride Town Councilmember Meehan Fee, with support from former Mountain Village Town Manager Paul Wisor, found that neither Prohaska nor Wisor violated local, state or federal ethics codes in their actions.
