Depression and anxiety\ncan combine with addiction and isolation to eventually manifest as psycho emotional disease\nand ultimately suicide. \nIn small communities\, we perhaps feel it more acutely because we are close knit and intimate\,\nbut the numbers show that per capita suicide rates are factually higher in Telluride and similar\nmountain communities than the national average. Most of us in Telluride mourn someone we\nlost and worry about someone who’s at risk. Most of us can think of someone who passed away\nespecially during off-season\, whether it was overt suicide or alcohol and drugs\, in automobiles\,\nmountain mishaps or bizarre combinations of the above. \nStatistically\, these casualties occur more often during off-season. At Medicine Ranch\, we are\nover it!
