In 1975, The Rocky Horror Picture Show hit movie screens, quickly becoming a cult classic beloved by “freaks and geeks” around the world. Half a century later, the film continues to thrive with midnight showings, shadow casts and plenty of interactive debauchery.

In honor of the film’s 50th anniversary, Telluride Theatre is once again bringing the show to the Michael D. Palm Theatre, featuring nearly 30 local actors.

KOTO News sat down with Sasha Cucciniello, Meghan Knowles and Turner Kilgore to learn more about this year’s production.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be performed Friday, Oct. 24, at the Palm. The event kicks off with a pre-show party at 7 p.m., followed by the screening and live performance at 8 p.m.

The event is a fundraiser for Telluride Theatre and the Palm. Tickets are available at telluridetheatre.org
