Bob Grossman will talk about the precedent-setting San Miguel County DarkSky Reserve, the first county in the USA to make a Reserve application to DarkSky International. There are only two Reserves in the USA, 24 in the World. When designated it will put the region and San Miguel County on an international DarkSky map making it a desirable international astrotourism destination. Bob will discuss the Western Slope DarkSky Coalition’s philosophy about DarkSky Reserves. He will also appeal to the community for help and support.
