SUMMARY:Mass Movement
DESCRIPTION:Over the past 10 years\, Mass Movement has taken place as an annual celebration of dance in our small mountain town. We bring together local dancers and choreographers and also invite visiting choreographers and dancers from the region. Mass Movement is a celebration to find what moves you\, whether you are on stage performing or participating as an audience member. This performance has been a platform and catalyst for the growth of the dance community here in Telluride. TDC and Palm Arts are excited to include Palm Arts Dance as an additional partnership this year and provide programming that invites local youth to participate in an intergenerational performance experience.

SUMMARY:Impetus – A site-specific dance performace
DESCRIPTION:Impetus is a 45-minute site-specific movement performance utilizing the unique landscape of the skatepark. Dancers use momentum\, gravity\, and interaction with each other to create a cyclical feeling\, mimicking the energetic frustrations many of us are feeling with the state of the world today. This event is FREE and open to the public\, all ages welcome. Donations will be collected at the event.
