The Telluride Bluegrass Festival is here!

KOTO is proud to present our annual live broadcast of the 50th annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival, live from Town Park! Tune in Thursday through Sunday to hear all your favorite festival acts straight from the park to your living room, just like you’re there. This is a favorite tradition — decades in the running — and we remain grateful and humble for the opportunity to bring the music outside of the park, for all to enjoy. CLICK HERE TO LISTEN!

This year, we’ve lined up interviews with some of the most celebrated bluegrass musicians of our time! Bela Fleck, Yonder Mountain String Band, Greensky Bluegrass, Sierra Ferrell, Town Mountain, and others will share their inspirations, anecdotes, and insights — showcasing their incredible talents and passion for their craft and bringing their unique voices to the interview tent.

Give to the Jerry Greene Legacy Fund

If sometime over the past four-plus decades you tuned in to the Nordic Commando Radio show early on Thursday mornings, then you know Jerry Greene was a bluegrass aficionado. He celebrated his birthday over Telluride Bluegrass Festival weekend each year.

When KOTO’s eccentric co-founder died in the spring of 2021, we learned that he had left a generous bequest to his beloved radio station. With this gift, KOTO’s board and staff decided to create the Jerry Greene Legacy Fund, an investment fund professionally managed by Alpine Bank Wealth Management to ensure the long-term sustainability of KOTO-FM. The fund launched over Bluegrass weekend 2022 and was such a success we’ve decided to dedicate our festival broadcast to Jerry Greene each year.

If you would like to make a meaningful contribution to the Jerry Greene Legacy Fund, please contact Executive Director Cara Pallone at cara@koto.org or call (970) 728-8100. Current and future stewards of KOTO are grateful for your support.
