Summertime is such a vibe! Here at KOTO in Telluride, we’re kicking off our summer fundraising season with a Guest DJ Day dedicated to Good Vibrations.
Tune in to KOTO all day on Friday, August 18th to hear from Guest DJs who embody the good vibes theme, and call in and give your support!
Here’s the full Guest DJ Day schedule:
9 to 10 a.m.: Good Vibes in Gov’t with Mike Bordogna, Scott Robson & Paul Wisor
10 to 11 a.m.: The Affirmations Hour with Mandy Miller and Christopher Beaver
11 a.m. to noon: Positively Poetry with Art Goodtimes, Joanna Spindler & Peter Waldor
Noon to 1 p.m.: The Color Crew with Lollie, Red & Ella
1 to 2 p.m.: Generation Re:Vibe with Grady & Simon
2 to 3 p.m.: SBGroovy Productions with Courtney, Steve, Jake, Pat & crew
3 to 4 p.m.: 60s Babies with Todd Creel, Honga Im, Jenny Page & Pancho Winter
4 to 5 p.m.: Good Notations with Danny, Claire, and Telluride Chamber Music

This summer, one lucky donor will win a red hot Schwinn cruiser bike - donated by Box Canyon Bicycles and styled out exclusively by MD Famous Artist! This bike features a Telluride vignette in MD’s iconic style, KOTO logos, a KOTO mini bluetooth speaker, and a special easter egg - the musical notation to the Jimi Hendrix classic “Foxy Lady!”

We worked with local artist Dave Mortner & Saw It Again Threads on some new hats for our summer donors. Choose your groove on these funky looks featuring the Purple House on Pine - there’s a yellow a blue ripstop cap - each is available for a $50 donation to KOTO Community Radio! The blue cap features the mushroom house design and the yellow has a green & white vinyl motif.

On Guest DJ Day (that’s Friday, August 18th), KOTO will also hold a drawing for a two-night stay at The Mountainside Inn in Telluride! The Mountainside Inn is pet-friendly and with the river trail just outside your door it is easy to get outside and enjoy the mountains of Telluride.
