The Town of Mountain Village presents Dinner & a Movie at the Telluride Conference Center. Tonight, Friday, October 18th, Ghostbusters, screens at 7 p.m. with doors at 6 p.m. Tomorrow, Saturday, October 19th, will feature Hotel Transylvania, screening at 6 p.m. with doors at 5 p.m. Halloween short films will be screening 5-6 p.m. both nights.

The Sawpit Mercantile is hosting their first-ever Spooky and Spontaneous Pumpkin Fest tomorrow, Saturday, October 19th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.! Bring the whole family – The Merc will provide the pumpkins - for a pumpkin carving & painting contest, costume contest, and live music!

Celebrate the life and legacy of Wanda K. Taylor with a Block Party and a community potluck on Saturday, October 19th, from 3-7 p.m. at the Sherbino in Ridgway. There will be a potluck, slideshow, and special live performance by the Ridgway Wrecking Crew.

DJ Wombat presents WombatFest - this weekend through Sunday, October 20th, at Camp V! Roots, Reggae, Funk and a celebration of community. Tickets and full lineup at campv.com.

Monday, October 21st, head to Wilkinson Public Library’s Youth Area for a fun and FREE 2 p.m. matinee showing of Inside Out 2. No registration required- just come, relax, and enjoy the show! This event is for youth and families.

The San Miguel Educational Fund (that’s KOTO’s governing board) holds a regular meeting on Monday, October 21st at 5:15 p.m. in the Telluride Room at Wilkinson Public Library. The public is invited to attend in person or via Zoom. The meeting agenda will be posted at koto.org.

Tuesday, October 22nd, attend the latest Community Conversation at 5 p.m. at Wilkinson Public Library for a workshop with Allison Daily from Pathfinders Aspen. Learn how to understand your own needs in times of grief and ways to be there for grieving friends and family. Allison will offer tools and language that both supports one's own grief as well as others'. Bilingual with dinner and childcare provided.

The Wright Opera House in Ouray presents Movie Night at the Wright on Wednesday, October 23rd, at 7 p.m. The film will be The Zone of Interest, Rated PG-13. Box office opens at 6:30 p.m.

It’s that time of year again for the annual election for KOTO’s board of directors, the San Miguel Educational Fund. This year, there are two open board seats. Elected board seats serve two-year terms. If you are interested in running for a seat on the KOTO board of directors, please submit a letter of intent to cara@koto.org by October 31st.
