The Towns of Telluride and Mountain Village and EcoAction Partners are holding an Electric Vehicle Ride & Drive event on Friday, October 11th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Telluride at the Carhenge parking lot. Learn about available EVs and finance options including rebates and tax credits.

Electronic Waste Recycling weekend takes place Friday, October 11th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Telluride (Carhenge parking lot) and Mountain Village (Gondola parking garage) and Saturday, October 12th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Telluride (Carhenge) and in Norwood (County Fairgrounds). Small fee for TVs; all other items are FREE!

This Fall the Med Center is again encouraging the community to schedule their annual prevention visits before the year ends. Extra Annual Visit spots are available. For those who do NOT have insurance, specially priced exams are available. Spanish Language Interpreters are on-site. Community Health Matters! It’s that time of year again for the annual election for KOTO’s board of directors, the San Miguel Educational Fund. This year, there are two open board seats. Elected board seats serve two-year terms. If you are interested in running for a seat on the KOTO board of directors, please submit a letter of intent to cara@koto.org by October 31st.

Tuesday, October 15th, join poet Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer at Telluride Arts HQ as she reads from her new collection, “The Unfolding.” Live music starting at 5:30 p.m., and local students Katie Pumayalli and Payton Miller will open the reading at 6 p.m.

Tuesday, October 15th, the Progressive Women’s Caucus holds their Local Election Forum from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Rebekah Hall.
