The San Miguel Educational Fund – that’s KOTO’s governing board – is holding annual elections for two regular board seats as well as bylaws revisions. SMEF members will receive ballots in the mail this week. Ballots are due by Thursday, December 5th. Return them by mail or drop them off at the Purple House on Pine (207 N. Pine St, Telluride).

Tri County Health Network is offering National Alliance on Mental Illness Peer-to-Peer sessions this winter. It’s a free, 8-session program for adults with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. Classes are held virtually on Monday evenings from 5:30pm-7:45pm, starting tomorrow, Monday, November 25th. Register at tchnetwork.org/events-and-classes.

San Miguel County’s annual Turkey Trot takes place the morning of Thanksgiving – Thursday, November 28th – at the intersection of Sunshine Mesa Road and Ilium Road. Register in advance at bit.ly/SMCTurkeyTrot2024 and receive a raffle ticket, or sign up on Thanksgiving Day starting at 9 a.m. There will be a raffle drawing at 9:30 a.m., and the race begins at 9:45 a.m. Awards for Fastest Male, Fastest Female, Fastest Kid (under 12), and Best Costume!
