The Telluride Historical Museum will reveal the newest Weatherford Gallery annual exhibit on Thursday, June 6th, with a FREE public reception. The exhibit "You Are Here: Opportunity, Exploration, and Endurance in the San Juan Mountains" features rare and unique historical maps that tell the story of the American Southwest. Also, the museum’s popular historic walking tours led by Ashley Boling take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 1pm beginning today, Tuesday, June 4th. Stop on by at the museum soon and don't forget Saturdays are FREE for locals!

There will be a Life Celebration and Dance Party in memory of Dr. Peter Harrelson today, Tuesday, June 4th, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Town Park Pavilion.

Augment Music Project presents the first of their Summer Music Series in Elks Park featuring live lounge grooves by Après Nova on Tuesday, June 4th, from 6-8 p.m. The concert is FREE and all are welcome, so bring a chair and support the local music scene!

Join the Wilkinson Public Library on the first Tuesday of every month at The Alibi for a night of laid-back, social gaming from 5-7pm. Come play cribbage, backgammon, mahjong, chess, or feel free to bring your own game to play with others. Bring a friend, or come solo and meet someone new!  

Seas of Trees will be presenting a slide show at Patagonia Telluride on Wednesday, June 5th at 5pm about their local and global tree planting efforts. Come meet Kiran Karjit, a tree planting partner from Kathmandu, Nepal. There will be a raffle, and an opportunity to buy local native sapling trees to plant in your own backyard.

District Commissioner and candidate Anne Brown invites the community to two Meet & Greet events this week: Wednesday, June 5th at the Lawson Hill picnic/playground area from 5:30-7pm; and Thursday, June 6th, at the Placerville Schoolhouse, also 5:30-7pm. Refreshments served. All are welcome.

Telluride Gold Kings are playing at The Alibi this Wednesday, June 5th, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Can’t make it to Wednesday’s show? Catch the Gold Kings on Thursday, June 6th, at the historic Sheridan Bar from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
