Today, Monday, July 1st, through Tuesday, July 9th, Patagonia Telluride is hosting a Strava event to raise awareness and donations for the Running Up For Air nonprofit and clean air, bringing awareness to air quality in mountain towns to help fight against air pollution everywhere. Runners will be doing laps on the Jud Wiebe to raise donations. This weeklong event is in partnership with Jagged Edge, La Sportiva, and more.

Calling all pie enthusiasts! The Wilkinson Public Library is hosting its annual Pie Contest on Wednesday, July 3rd! This delicious competition is open to bakers of all ages. Show off your skills for bragging rights and fun prizes! A panel of esteemed judges will decide the fate of your flaky masterpiece, based on appearance, creativity, and of course, taste. The 14th annual Telluride Foundation Rundola benefitting the Good Neighbor Fund is happening at 8 a.m. on July 4th! The easiest way to register is by going to runreg.com/rundola. Bib and swag pickup and on-site registration will take place in the Oak Street Gondola Plaza on July 3rd from 11am-3pm. On-site registration will also be available on July 4th from 7:00 - 7:50am (if the race does not sell out).
The Sheridan Arts Foundation (SAF) hosts 22 nationally recognized plein air artists this week as they gather for the 21st annual Telluride Plein Air. A three-day art exhibition and sale will be held on Thursday, July 4th through Saturday, July 6th, displaying the completed works of flower-filled meadows, majestic mountains and colorful downtown scenery.
