Join Mountainfilm at the Sheridan Opera House tonight, Friday, August 23rd for their summer fundraiser, a special community screening of Champions of the Golden Valley. Long-time local and internationally-renowned violinist Tom Stone will be performing at the Palm Theatre tomorrow, Saturday, August 24th, with ‘Trio Duende’ - pianist Awadagin (pron: ah-wah-DAH-zhen) Pratt, and cellist Sophie Shao. The program includes music by Beethoven, Brahms and Vasks and is a co-presentation by Telluride Chamber Music and Palm Arts.

Sunday, August 25th, Telluride’s own outlaw country band, The Tell Tale Signs, are playing at The Alibi. Show at 8:30 p.m. Tickets at the door.

Monday, August 26th, come explore the world of Lego afterschool for an hour with Wilkinson Public Library's youth staff. The theme will be Jungles! Free program for children ages 6 - 12 yrs old.

Telluride R-1 School District Board of Education holds a work session on Monday, August 26th, at 3:30 p.m. in the Bridal Veil room at TMHS and via Zoom. The regular monthly board meeting will be Tuesday, August 27th, at 5:15 p.m. also in the Bridal Veil room and via Zoom. Meeting agendas and Zoom links can be found at tellurideschool.org.

Wilkinson Public Library’s Listening Club BBQ is Monday, August 26th at 5:30 p.m. on the library terrace. Discuss the summer reading book, Questlove’s Music is History, and enjoy some yummy grilled food. The Wright Opera House in Ouray will host a film screening of Arthur the King (Rated PG-13) on Wednesday, August 28th, at 7 p.m. Box office opens at 6:30 p.m.

Learn about the upcoming solar land use code update, and how you can make your voice heard in the conversation about solar energy in our region! Light refreshments from Counter Culture will be provided.
