Wilkinson Public Library is collecting gently used kids costumes for their Kids Costume Exchange event, taking place tomorrow, Tuesday, October 1st from 4-6 p.m. at the Library.

Bright Futures for Children will host a FREE family workshop on Wednesday, October 2nd, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Wilkinson Public Library. Explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics with your young child (0-5 yrs). Dinner, child care, and Spanish interpretation will be available. 

Join the Telluride Museum at the Madeline Hotel and Residences on Wednesday, October 2nd at 6 p.m. for FREE weekly talk by local writer Paul O'Rourke, presenting his new book Telluride Stories, based on his essays and history articles authored for Telluride Magazine.

The Placerville Community annual Fall Potluck is next Thursday, October 3rd from 6-8 p.m. at the historic Placerville Schoolhouse. Please bring food of the fall harvest, your own beverages & table service.

Telluride Dance Collective (TDC) & Palm Arts present MASS MOVEMENT on Thursday, October 3rd & Friday, October 4th, at 7pm at Palm Theatre! Mass Movement is a celebration to find what moves you. This year TDC is collaborating with Moraporvida, a contemporary dance company visiting from Denver. Get tickets at telluridepalm.com.

Next Saturday, October 5th, swing on over to the West End for the 8th annual Heritage Festival in the beautiful Nucla Town Park. Press apples with an old time press and check out the many varieties of heirloom apples that the region offers. Live bluegrass music from The Grand Avenue and The Foggy Memory Boys. The festival features a Fall Farmer's Market, heirloom veggie display, face painting for kids, regional hard cider, local apple desserts, arts and craft vendors and local food vendors offering pizza, tacos and healthy wraps for lunch!

This Fall the Med Center is again encouraging the community to schedule their annual prevention visits before the year ends. Extra Annual Visit spots are available. For those who do NOT have insurance, specially priced exams are available. Spanish Language Interpreters are on-site. Community Health Matters!
