EcoAction Partners presents “Healing with Her,” a community conversation about climate anxiety, tomorrow, Wednesday, January 29th, at 5:30 p.m. at Wilkinson Public Library.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 29th, your Telluride Miners basketball teams will play the Olathe Pirates at the Miner Dome (aka the TMHS gym). Girls’ and Boys’ Junior Varsity games will play first, starting around 4 p.m. The Girls’ Varsity game will tip off at approximately 6:30 p.m. and the Boys’ Varsity game at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Telluride Mountain School is excited to welcome the community to an Open House and Student Showcase on Thursday, January 30th, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at 200 San Miguel River Drive. Visitors will experience a variety of student-led presentations and displays highlighting projects and achievements from the current academic year. Whether you’re a prospective family or simply curious, visit the open house and experience the vibrant learning community at Telluride Mountain School.

Mountain Sprouts Preschool Open House takes place this Friday, January 31st, from 3-4 p.m. Mountain Sprouts is now accepting applications for the 2025/2026 school year. Come learn more about programming and meet the teachers.

The Sheridan Arts Foundation presents a 3-night run of the beloved musical, Grease - performed by the High School Young People’s Theater - from Friday, January 31st through Sunday, February 2nd at the historic Sheridan Opera House. Leslie Browning and Friends will play a FREE après ski happy hour at the Peaks Resort on Saturday, February 1st, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Internationally acclaimed violinist Ben Breen and Grammy Award winning cellist Zuill Bailey will perform works for solo violin and cello by J.S Bach in the historic Sheridan Opera House on Tuesday, February 4th, at 7 p.m., presented by Telluride Chamber Music. The evening will offer the chance for the audience to be guided by Breen and Bailey through these stunning compositions, as they highlight the history of the works, interweaved with stories of their own personal experiences as musicians. Driving from Montrose to Telluride this winter? Leave icy roads and high gas prices behind! Starting Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 17th, San Miguel Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) will have a new bus line from Montrose to Telluride with one stop in Ridgway. Buses leave Montrose at 6 a.m. and arrive in Telluride by 8 a.m., Monday through Friday. Catch the return bus at 5 p.m. to head home. Skip the drive. Love the ride!
