Tri-County Health Network and Raices Sin Fronteras (Roots Without Borders) are holding a series of workshops and exhibits in Telluride on Saturday, August 31st, aimed at promoting help for the area's immigrant community. It's called Encuentro 2024 and it kicks off at the Wilkinson Public Library at 9:30 in the morning, and features an afternoon march for workers' rights starting from Town Park.

Telluride Public Works Department have begun milling and patching on streets throughout town. Paving and patching will begin Tuesday, September 3rd, and continue until all milled roads are restored, which is expected by the end of the day on Friday, September 6th.
